Private Music Lessons
Whether you are interested in learning a new instrument, would like some extra practice, or are preparing for a big audition, I am happy to offer my help and guidance! I am proud to offer students of all ages a safe & encouraging learning environment while still maintaining high expectations and rigorous performance standards. I am committed to helping each and every student reach their personal goals.
I specialize in teaching string instruments as well as piano and percussion. Lessons will conveniently take place in your home!

$35/30-minute lesson
$60/1-hour lessonA small additional fee will be requested at the first lesson in order to purchase the lesson book, unless the student already has a book.

Lessons will conveniently take place in your home! I offer lessons in or near the Schaumburg, IL area.

I offer lessons for the following instruments:
Violin (Beginning to Intermediate)
Viola (Beginning to Intermediate)
Cello (Beginning to Intermediate)
String Bass (Beginning to Intermediate)
Piano (Beginning to Advanced)
Percussion (Beginning to Advanced)

The student is expected to provide his or her own instrument. If the student does not already have an instrument, I can certainly help you obtain one!
I will provide learning materials (such as a lesson book) for a small charge.

We will use whichever book the student uses in his or her school music class. If the student is not enrolled in their school music program, I will choose a book catered to the student’s ability.
Our first lesson will consist of a diagnostic assessment of the student’s current proficiency on their instrument and from there we will chart a path for the student to be successful in their personal goals!

Cash or check is the preferred method of payment, but electronic payment such as Zelle or Venmo are also accepted.

Payment is due at the beginning of each lesson, so there are no refunds.
I understand that illness or life events may cause the student to cancel a lesson; however, if lessons are cancelled frequently by the student, your lesson time may be given to another student on the wait list.
In the rare event that Mr. Botwinski needs to cancel, he will make every possible effort to reschedule it within that week.
As a courtesy, I ask that you notify me of a cancellation at least 24 hours in advance.
